Biz – E – Kidz fees and CCS resuming on 13th July
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has made childcare free until the 12/7/2020. Fees and the childcare subsidy will resume on the 13/07/2020.
To get ready, families should note:
- Ensure your Biz – E – Kidz booking is correct. We will email you a Confirmation / CWA next week that you can check and confirm. If you do not receive one, you have no booking.
- Ensure that you fees from before 6th April are paid
- You will continue to receive statements even though you are not being charged. This to inform you of any care you have used and any amounts owing from before 6/4/20
- Bookings have not carried forward from term 1. If you require a booking, please use the online booking form at https://www.smartcentral.net/v2/service_profile/show/353
- If your circumstances have changed (for example income level or contact information), you should update your details with Centrelink as soon as possible. This can be done through their Centrelink online account through myGov or the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
- If you were getting CCS before 6 April 2020 won't need to do anything for their subsidy to start again, CCS will start again automatically on 13 July 2020.
- If you were not previously accessing CCS you should put in a claim for CCS as soon as possible and inform Biz – E – Kidz of your CRNs. If you continue using childcare from 13 July 2020 but aren't receiving CCS, you will need to pay full fees. Claims for CCS can only be backdated for up to 28 days from the day the claim is lodged.
- If you have not already, confirm your income for 2018-19 with or the ATO by lodging a tax return or with Centrelink with a ‘Advise non-lodgement of tax return’ by the 30/06/2020
How much CCS you are eligible is based on their individual circumstances. You can find information about eligibility on the Services Australia website. If you have trouble meeting these requirements, you can contact Services Australia to discuss.

Direct debit
We are happy to announce that Biz – E – Kidz is currently planning to institute direct debit early next term. We will contact you via compass and email during the school holidays with further information but expect to have it up and running before first fees will be due on the 3rd of August. Watch this space!
