Doctors in Secondary Schools

Don’t forget our doctor is available for secondary students every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a fantastic service that is free of charge to students (bulk billed). Students can see the doctor for anything you would normally see a GP about including if students have missed immunisations, need to update asthma or anaphylaxis plans or need repeat prescriptions. To make an appointment students or parents can contact Yvonne in the main office or ask a Learning Centre Leader or welfare staff member to make the appointment for them. We don’t need to know any details except the student’s name to make an appointment.  If making an appointment for a catch up immunisation please let us know so that the doctor can bring the correct supplies.

School Uniform

R. Morgan

As the weather is cooling down please check that your child has a correct school jumper and that their name is clearly labelled on their school jumpers and jackets.  If lost clothing is named it can be returned to the students.

Students are not to wear hoodies under school shirts or jackets.

Jumpers and jackets can be purchased from the school office, contact the school if you need any assistance with school uniform.

Students are to wear black tracksuit pants.  Any other colour tracksuit pants or any sort of leggings are not part of the uniform and must not be worn.

If your child needs to be out of uniform please send a note explaining the reason.

Asthma Puffers and Spacers

E. Smith

Could all students who need an asthma puffer and spacer please make sure they have one at school. We have noticed that students often do not have their puffers.  With the constant change in weather they are requiring them more often especially when participating in PE.
