Key messages for the Monivae community

If you feel unwell with any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, you should stay home and get tested. If you have any fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss of sense of smell or taste – get tested and stay home until you get the result. Please advise Reception (students) of your absence and reason, and update the school with your COVID test result immediately.
Social distancing -1.5 metres must be considered with student interactions, with this clear distance between students and staff members expected at all times.
Face coverings in regional Victoria - Face coverings in regional Victoria continue to be recommended in situations where maintaining 1.5 metres distance is not possible. Disposable face masks are available from Reception for school events. Note: Face coverings can reduce the risk of transmission but are not a substitute for physical distancing and practising good hygiene.
Sanitation must occur upon entry to the school at the start and end of each day, as well as upon entry to each class/classroom. Please adhere to the guidelines of regional school transport operators also.
