Peking Opera Mask Competition

Students in the photos attached are the winners of Peking Opera Mask “competition”. This was a learning task of the topic “colours”. Students learnt what different colours symbolise on Chinese Peking Opera masks. Accordingly, they designed their own mask by selecting the colours that can best describe the personalities of the character they created. They also labelled each colour they used in Chinese. The winners of the actual 3D mask were voted out by each class of students against the suggested criteria anonymously.
