To parents and students,

During our time of remote schooling, we continue to support you and your students with their reading needs. The following information will allow you to choose books that we have in our libraries and have them ready to collect at either campus reception area (please remember to let us know which campus is best).

How to borrow books:

1. Selecting a book from our catalogue. Go online HERE to St. Peter’s ‘My Library’ site or HERE directly to the St. Peter’s Library catalogue to make a selection; you can login with your school credentials or simply login as a guest. Look at the book information, this will let you know if the book is available for borrowing.
2. Email us library@stpeters.vic.edu.au with your choice.
3. Library staff will

• Borrow it out to you
• Sanitise the book/s and place into a plastic bag with your name on it.
• You will be sent an email with instructions for collection from Reception.
• We will give you information in the email regarding the campus pick-up point.

How to Return books:

All recently borrowed library books have had their borrowing due date extended until the beginning of term four. You may return all books to the school at any time by dropping them off at either campus reception.

Please note: If you have borrowed any library books around March or April at the time of the first lock down, please return them to the school and leave them at Reception when possible.

Missing books will be invoiced if not returned. 

Our Library Team is looking forward to assisting you and your students with your reading and information needs throughout remote schooling and look forward to our return to on-campus school soon!
