Thank you!!

Mrs Trevorrow and I want to thank those students who are responding to and engaging with the art activities we have planned and prepared for you to do at home. I find it hard to describe the excitement I feel when I open Seesaw or Showbie and see the amazing artworks children are doing. It is so pleasing to note the engagement and support of parents in the program too. What a special thing it is to work creatively together with your child at this time. I cannot spruik enough, the wellbeing benefits of making art and working together. If you're yet to get involved, it's not too late! Have a look at our galleries in this newsletter and be inspired!

For those children who have been completing their art projects, please keep the work! It would be great to have an exhibition in the school corridors of the wonderful work you have been doing so that everyone can see and enjoy the actual works. In the meantime....

Artist of the Week

Well done Mary S of FGA  for the obvious enjoyment and concentration you experienced in the making of your Bread Clay Pinch Pot. Mary sent me a number of photos documenting the creation of her pot. Here are just two of them.
