Big Science Competition Results

Earlier in the year we had approximately 100 of our top Science students from Years 7-10 compete in the Big Science Competition. Pleasingly we celebrated exceptional results with 5 of our students receiving the award of High Distinction – this result put them in the top 5% of students competing.

We congratulated the following students on their exceptional results and contribution to Science at St Bede’s.

Year 7 – Ashtyn Jansen Van Rensburg

Year 8 – Sam Anthonisz (also received a High Distinction in 2018)

Year 9 – Ryan Stahlhut

Year 10 – Sam Valentine & Ben Uehara (also received a High Distinction in 2018)

We congratulate all of the students who have been committed to demonstrating excellence in Science and continuing to participate fully in the many opportunities that they have available to them.

Students in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, and Psychology have been busy finalising their extended investigation research SAC’s, and preparing thoroughly for their end of year exams. We wish them all the best as they come to the end of their journey in Science at St Bede’s, and hope they continue their passion for Science in the years to come.
