OSH Club News - Term 4

New Coordinator – Jasie Zelazny!

Please come and say hello to the new coordinator at Huntingdale OSHClub Jasie Zelazny. Jasie has worked in Outside of Hours Care for 4 years at Deepdene Primary School and is also a Primary School teacher and a mother to her son Jamie who is 18 months old.  Please also say hello to Nadeeka who is the new assistant at Huntingdale OSHClub and is currently studying her Diploma of Early Learning and Childcare. 

Term 4, 2015 Goals

At Huntingdale OSHClub we are looking forward to building great relationships with all the families and children who utilize the service as well as the school community. We also endeavor to help build self-help skills and independence at the program which means encouraging the children to make their own breakfast, put plates in the dishwasher, be proactive in cleaning the room and setting up play spaces that interest them.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for improvements for the program please speak to Jasie Zelazny, the new coordinator, as we are always open to feedback.

Term 4 Sun smart Policy

During Terms 1 & 4 at OSHClub we require the children to wear hats and sunblock during before school care and after school care when playing outside. We do not provide hats however we do have sun block at the program for the children to use. If your child is allergic to generic sunblock then it is recommended that they bring their own sunblock and all children must bring their own hat.

Anaphylaxis/Allergy/Asthma 

Policy Reminder

If your child attends the program and has anaphylaxis, allergies or asthma then we require an updated action plan from your family doctor annually as well as their medication which also needs to be in date.
