Grade 1 Taskworks Incursion

On Thursday the 23rd of June, all the Grade 1 students will be involved in an incursion with Taskworks.

Taskworks is a company that run safe, hands-on and fun activities where children and adults can play and learn together. Their program was developed to provide kids with an environment that allows them to talk and work with each other and use their bodies and their minds in different activities.

This unique incursion has been specifically designed to fit the Physical Science component of the Australian Curriculum with direct links to Design and Technology. All activities are 100% hands on and require teamwork, effective communication and persistence.

Students will be required to wear full school uniform on the day of the incursion.

The cost of this incursion will be $11.  All forms and money need to be returned in an envelope with the child’s full name and class on the front. Payments need to be exact, as the Office cannot give change.

Yours sincerely,

Grade 1 Teachers

We have access to interpreters: please let your classroom teacher or the Office (03 8768 6700), know as soon as possible if you would like an interpreter to attend your interview. Parents can change their interview bookings at any time prior to the closing date by re-visiting the www.schoolinterviews.com.au website and using the event code.

Parents wishing to change their interview times after the closing date should contact the school directly. The parent teacher interviews will be held in your child’s classroom. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or myself.
