RoboCup Workshops at SPC

Enthusiasm is running high for the 2023 RoboCup at St Philip's College! 

There are currently around 20 students turning up to our workshops every Thursday during the long break. Students form teams to make and code robots. The RoboCup events are as follows:

• Sumo: Your robot has to push another robot out of a ring
• Mighty Maisy Maze: Your robot enters a disaster area and has to find trapped and injured people and report back

Students from primary and secondary schools across Alice Springs have been invited to compete at the RoboCup being held on Saturday 14 October in the Minnamurra Hall.

Teams: 2 to 4 members. Ask your friends or those who turn up to the meetings

Competitions: St Philip's College is eligible for 2 competitions (1) Sumo (information) and (2) Mighty Maisy Maze 

Who: Anyone!

When: Saturday 14 October (Week 1, Term 4)

Where: The Minnamurra Hall, St Philip's College 

What to do: Form a team, understand the rules, build and code your robots!

Workshops: Held every Thursday during the long break (10:50am - 11:30am) in Room 25. Supervising teachers are Mr Bill Kerr, Mr Pat Elliott and Ms Lynn-Maree Harvey
