Year 10 Career Action Plans 

This week, work experience information will be distributed to all Year 10 students. Work Experience is a valuable opportunity for all Year 10 students to seek and undertake a five day placement with an employer to gain insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. It provides students with the valuable opportunity to: 

• develop employability skills 
• explore possible career options 
• understand employer expectations 
• increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence. 

Work Experience 

Work Experience will be in the final week of Term 2, 20th – 24th of June. 

In the lead up to this, all students will meet individually with either Ms Shelley or Ms O’Brien to complete a Career Action Plan and discuss pathway options.  

Please contact Gayle Shelley or Holly O’Brien if you think your business or company may be able to offer a work experience placement to a student.
