Term 2 Interschool Sport

Term two promises to be a busy term with interschool sport competitions.

The following a scheduled sporting dates that many students have signed up to compete in.

• Tuesday 24th May: Year 8 Sports Competition: Boys AFL, Girls Netball, Boys Badminton 
• Thursday 26th May: Year 7 Sports Competition Boys AFL, Girls Netball, Yr8 Boys & Girls Soccer.
• Monday 30th May: Geelong Region Interschool Cross-Country > Eastern Gardens
• Tuesday 7th June: Junior & Intermediate Boys Netball, Junior Girls (Yr7&8) AFL

HOMEWORK HELP: YEARS 7-10

We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for students to receive help with their homework. Beginning on Tuesday 31st May after school from 3:30 to 4:30pm in the red building, we will welcome one of our recent alumni, Breannah Stonehouse, to work with students needing a helping hand with completing homework or understanding classwork. Please email me at susan.harrington@education.vic.gov.au if you would like your child to participate in this program. There is no cost, however parents are responsible for their child getting home afterwards.

CSEF (Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund)

Please see below Information for Parents in relation to the Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund.

Any student new to Western Heights College in 2022 (including Year 7 students), who meet the criteria for CSEF, will need to complete an application form (the link for which is below) or you can obtain a form from the College Office. 

Eligibility criteria is included in the application form. 

Applications close on June 24, 2022 and no late applications are accepted.
