WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE

GREAT EFFORT KSC!

What a beautiful day for shaving heads, waxing legs and raising money for a worthy cause!

With a packed crowd of students and staff gathered 'round, sausages and burgers sizzling at our VCAL pop-up bbq, and MC Cass B (Miss Burdett) on music - the scene was set for an enjoyable event.

A flurry of hair colouring started the proceedings, thanks to Morgan, Caitlyn and Maddi - with fluro colours and polka dots brightening the heads of anyone brave enough to sit in their 'salon'.

Our guest barber Rick, from Burra Barber shaved the heads of our volunteers Riley Sendek (yr 9) and Mr Kellow, while students and staff purchase wax strips to remove some hair from Mr Cronin's legs. I'm sure you'll all agree that he was very brave (and hardly screamed at all) :

In the end our wonderful school community managed to raise over $1300 for the World's Greatest Shave charity, which will go towards supporting the Leukemia Foundation in their lifesaving work.
