Meet the Year 6 school leaders 2023!

School captains

Hello everyone! If you didn’t know we are your School Captains, Cleo and Hamish! We are looking forward to being your leaders in 2023! You can expect to see us at assembly every week sharing birthdays, STAR awards and any other news from the week. We will also be at all of the events that happen during the school year and at all of the SRC meetings. You will be hearing from us every other week in the newsletter and we are so excited to represent the school and share our school spirit.

STEM captains

As your STEM Captains for 2023, we will be helping with the technology in school and we will be involved in Maths Olympiad. We have already thought of some great new additions to the school, such as starting a STEM club which in our opinion is a great idea! We have a few other ideas we would to try along with Hamish, our School Captain, so watch this space for more STEM news next time!

Sports Captains

Hi everyone, we are the Sports Captains! Your Green House Captains are Grace Buick and Nicholas Papaioannou. Your Red House Captains are Tom Noonan and Daniel Lee and your Yellow House Captains are Alex Piva, Luca Piasente and Ethan Hassett. We are looking forward to taking part in all the sporting events this term and will also help you out on the yard with your games if you need us. For Years 3-6 this term, we have District Tennis, District Swimming and our school Cross Country.

Community Captains

Hi! we are the Community Captains for 2023 our names are Christine, Adi, and Joe. As Community Captains, we are here to help the environment and we are proud to help the school. 

Some of the things that we will be doing include: looking after the secret garden by watering the plants and checking on them to help grow delicious vegetables and fruits. We will also help clean the Eco Village and make sure our school looks its best. We are so honoured to have this role in the school and can’t wait to get started!

Art Captains

Hi everyone, our names are Elisa, Alex, Michael and Laura (not pictured) and we are your 2023 Art Captains! This year we are excited to be working on the production, helping to make the props with Mrs Moore, Mrs Cleere and Mrs Cummings (once it’s announced!). We are also going to be starting a drama club during lunchtime once a week!
