Year 6 -Introducing the school leaders

Hi! We are your School Leaders for 2023

From our School Leaders Beau, Harshul, Ava, and Eli

We are Beau and Harshul. We like playing sports such as footy, tennis, basketball and cricket. We have been at this school since prep and like the welcoming students and teachers. We also like the sports events and playground equipment. We decided to become school leaders because we like sharing ideas, meeting new people and helping the school. We hope to meet you soon and hope you have a great year! 

Hi, my name is Ava and I’m a school leader. I like to read, draw and play basketball. I hope you all have a great year! 

Hi, I’m Eli and I’m your Y6 school leader. I went for this role because, although this school gives attention to important things, students can still say hurtful things so I am trying to change that. I’m so excited for this year. 

Cultural Leader

Hi, my name is Viana and I’m going to be your Cultural Leader. My hobbies and interests are reading, maths and art. I really hope that you enjoy this year! 

House Leaders 

Blue House 

Hi, I am Abby and I’m a blue house captain! I like playing video games, I also like to run and do other sports. I like this school because you can always make new friends and have fun. 

Hi, I’m Darcy and I’m a blue house captain! I like surfing, skiing and ice cream. I like this school because it has a wonderful playground and awesome places to sit and talk with your friends. 

Green House 

Hi, my name is Tommy and I am one of your green house captains of 2023. I chose to be a house captain because I love sports like footy and basketball. I also love how this school produces awesome sports carnivals like cross country and athletics day which play a huge part in bringing kids together. This school has been a part of me since prep and I want everyone who comes here to feel that way too. Have a great year! 

Hi, my name is Alice and I will be one of your green house captains this year. I enjoy doing downball, tennis, swimming and art. If you see us in the yard at recess or lunch feel free to come up and say hello! We hope you enjoy this year. 

Red House 

Hi I’m Pania, I like going to my dance classes and listening to music. At this school I like that the teachers and students are really friendly. I like that you can ask anything and receive information and the truth. I wanted to be a leader this year because I want to help all of the kids at this school. 

Hi, I’m Rudy. I am interested in basketball and play this a lot at home, I like gaming such as video games and board games and I like to cook. At this school I really like the people here and I like the diversity because it highlights how multicultural Australia is. I wanted to be a leader mostly to help people embrace the diversity and cultures of our school. 

Yellow House 

Hi we are Michael and Milly and we are going to be your yellow house captains. 

I'm Michael and I like to swim and run around the school. My favourite thing to do is eat potatoes. The thing I like about the school is that everyone is supportive and kind. 

I’m Milly and I like to read, write and play basketball. My favourite food is chocolate covered lettuce. The thing I like about school is how the staff are always trying to make learning as inclusive and fun as possible.
