Year 5 have been working collaboratively across the curriculum, particularly in our history lessons where we have been working in small groups and whole class settings. You can see in the photo that 5A are creating a timeline that records what we think we know about the most recent past 250 years of Australia's history. 

Students have had robust conversations about where they think significant events should go on the timeline and why. Throughout out upcoming history unit, we will be learning more about these events and then comparing new knowledge with our timelines. It will be great to be able to reflect on this visual and see how far we have come with our learning by the end of the unit!
