Australian Geography

Year 3 have begun their unit on Australian Geography. They have been learning about the states and territories of Australia, and their capital cities. As we go deeper in our learning about Australian states and territories, students will research about Australian natural features, famous landmarks, population, activities available, native animals and climate, among other things!

Importantly, we have also explored how Australia was pre-contact, and talked about our local Country, Wurundjeri Country, part of the Kulin Nation.
