Welcome back to 2023!
We are very excited to welcome all of our students back to another action packed school year. Our focus, supported and celebrated by our staff, students and families,
will continue to be on the key elements of our College Mission: Faith, Care , Learning, Service and Stewardship which are core elements of our College ethos.
A number of activities have already commenced, resulting in the smooth transition of students into their news classes. The year 7 students will undertake their Community day next Friday. This is a day of celebrating the gifts and talents of all our Year 7 students as they engage with the Year 10 Peer Support team, the Homeroom teachers, their Pastoral Leader Mr Buckland as well as each other.
Last Friday we also celebrated the induction of our College Year 12 student leaders and celebrated their achievements as a College community.

These students have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and we look forward to the significant contribution they will have to our College community, commencing with their first fundraiser next week.
Finally, to ensure that our College community remains a safe and inclusive environment it is important to remember some College expectations. Correspondence has gone to families regarding the College Policy regarding mobile phones and smart watches. While we are aware that most students in Years 7-10 will have phones in their bags, we do not expect to see them being used in class or at recess and lunchtime. This will allow students to focus on their learning and appropriate social interactions. If students do not adhere to these new procedures their phones will be removed for the lesson or the remainder of the school day and parents contacted. Students have demonstrated their ability to be responsible with their devices this year and we thank our families for their ongoing support in the matter.
We look forward to all of the exciting things that Term 1 has to offer.
Yours in Learning,
Lora Segrave
