House Swimming Carnival 2023

The annual House Swimming Carnival took place at MSAC on Tuesday 14 February and wow what a day it was!  The air was a buzz with excitement as the grandstands filled, and the House cheers erupted. Perfect conditions for swimming and the students didn’t disappoint with mass participation and a flutter of records broken.  The lead changed several times throughout the day, and it was only the relays that determined the winner.  Congratulations to Rayner House.

Well done to everyone who was involved in the day for displaying true Huntingtower spirit.

A huge thank you to the Heads of House, Swimming and House Captains, Ms Beal, Ms Hender and the incredible Mrs Sheehan and Ms Lovel for making the day such a fun and successful one.

We are very much looking forward to seeing Huntingtower compete in the EISM Division 1 Carnival on Tuesday 14 March.

Special note from the Rayner Captains

Rayner had yet another wonderful win at the school swimming carnival this year.

We would like to thank Mrs Baynham, Mrs Sheehan and the other sports staff and event organisers for all their hard work in setting up the carnival.

An even bigger shoutout to everyone in Rayner, especially those who participated in morning trainings and swam extra strokes, your commitment and dedication to the house really brought this 5 year victory streak home.

Congratulations to Rayner House for winning the carnival, and we’re sure it was a great day of competition and fun for all the houses!
