Shock Therapy performance

As part of our theatre literacy program in Secondary Drama, students had a wonderful opportunity to view “Undertow”, by Shock Therapy.

Centering around a high school community, the show follows a group of individuals, from a range of backgrounds, all dealing with their own unique challenges.

The inventive performance included symbolic props/sets, physical theatre and multiple role-playing to challenge the audience about the issues of mental health. Students are encouraged to use these contemporary techniques in upcoming performances for assessment.

Student Achievements

Last weekend, Hannah McDonald performed with the Queensland Baroque Orchestra at the City Tabernacle Baptist Church, featuring soprano soloist Cassandra Seidemann and many renowned professional musicians. Well done Hannah!
