You simply need a willingness to learn, an ability to relate to all sorts of people, a genuine love of gelato and a desire to work hard while having fun.

The Role:

 

You will be responsible for assisting the restaurant to ensure we meet our commitment to our lovely guests.

 

Front of House responsibilities will include:

+ Pack Takeaway bags

+ Help to Seat & Greet our wonderful guests into the venue

+ Assist with running food our to customers

+ Clean, Sanitize and Re-Set tables

+ Learn processes such as open & close lists (which we will teach you to do, don't stress! )

+ Assist our friends on the Floor, Kitchen and Bar with tasks!

...And If you love people, learning the Front Desk! How to greet guests, seat them and process payments!

 

Back of House responsibilities will include:

+ Learn correct process for dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness

+ Learn processes; such as how to read recipes & method cards

+ Pack away deliveries & Learn to check off invoices

+ Assist our Kitchen friends with tasks, such as cutting vegetables or assembling salads

+ Assist Chef's during busy service

..And If you're up for a challenge, learning how to work fryers and other kitchen service tasks!

 

The Details:

 

Job Location: Torquay, VictoriaPosition Type: Casual ( weekend availability a must! )

Hours: Starting from 4 or 5pm. Required to have access to transport to and from work!
