Captains' Corner

Kye Duncan and Vanessa Sayers - College Captains

Hello everyone!

It made me so happy to see everyone’s bright faces again after our two-week break. Whether you travelled or stayed home and slept (like most of us Year 12s did) - I hope it was a good pit stop on our journey through the current year.

This term is set to be one jam-packed with engaging activities which we hope you all will enjoy.

The first event currently around the corner is the Athletics Carnival in which our Houses will compete against each other for the position of Champion once more. Much like the swimming carnival, I encourage everyone to make the most of the event, whether that be through running, sprinting, walking or even supporting your teammates out on the field as they do the other activities  such as high jump and shot put. It really is a day to remember if we put our 101% effort into it!

Looking forward to the future; we have the revered Founders Day!! Anyone you ask will never cease to tell you how much of an exhilarating day it is. With fun carnival activities, spectacular food. It is by far one of the most highly anticipated days on the school calendar.

I wish you all a smooth transition back into the school routine with the resolve to always strive for your end goal, and to start getting excited for the fantastic events that are in store for our second term of the year!

Never fail to seize the day, as it is unlikely to come again.

Hello Everyone !!

I hope you all have had a wonderful Easter and well-deserved break, all refreshed for the next term ahead. This term is jam packed with many events including our Athletics Carnival, Founder’s Day, Cross Country and MAD DAY.

First up is Athletics Carnival coming up on Monday. The Student Leadership Team can’t wait to see everyone participating and all dressed up to support their Houses. We will be encouraging each and everyone of you to join in and have fun. We also look forward to seeing some of the teachers running too!!

Additionally, Founder’s Day is coming up on the 17th of May. We look forward to celebrating the establishment of the College, allowing each of us to learn here and meet our friends through our connectedness of the College Community. After Mass, we have numerous activities for students to enjoy in celebration of the day as organised by your Student Representative Council.

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and rest up for all the running on Monday.
