The Principal's Pen
I started this year with “new” as my word for the year. When that is our focus it is incredible how many “new” things come to mind each day. We have faced many new challenges so far this year both as a school and also as a South West community. I’ve been encouraged, observing how positively Cornerstone has approached these challenges. Our students have shown such resilience in the face of many new changes and I want to commend our staff and you as parents for the support you give the children at this time.
The end of term is upon us and we usually finish with some form of Easter celebration. To maintain COVID safety, we are celebrating Easter in a new way this year. We are unable to gather together, so the celebrations will be class-based. I pray that the message of Easter has a new impact on all of us this season.
Please note that there are several important points of note in this issue, along with a collection of celebrations from around the College. Please check the information about term dates, COVID information and winter uniform.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
