Being unable to attend Mass over these past months has been challenging for many of us. As always, I encourage you to take the time for prayer with the whole family, especially during the upcoming school holidays.

Sacraments and Mass Celebrations

Several parents have been asking about Sacraments for this year. The latest news about the celebration of the Sacraments is that there is yet no go ahead from the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) regarding their re-introduction for 2020. Baptism is the only Sacrament being celebrated at present.

Additionally, DOSCEL has recently informed schools that according to the Chief Health Officer, ‘...schools should not conduct school Masses in parish churches, school halls, school chapels, classrooms or auditoriums with students in attendance’.

The school community will be informed as soon as news comes to hand.
