STEM News

This year at Camelot Rise, there is a new specialist subject: STEM!

What is STEM? STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

It is important to learn STEM because students can acquire many skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity through STEM.

During the weekly STEM lessons, students explore many topics.  The current focus at each level is:

Grade 5 & 6 - Light

Grade 3& 4  - Forces

Grade 1 & 2 -  How objects move

Foundation -  Animal habitats

We are also excited to announce STEM club will be introduced soon! STEM club will give students a chance to explore STEM collaboratively across year levels. STEM leaders Savindu and Yiqin will help run STEM club.
