Reconciliation

On Tuesday evening our Yr 3 students and their families attended a faith night as part of the student's preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

During the evening the children and parents wrote down words they associate with reconciliation.  One of the words that was repeated many times was LOVE.

The LOVE  we have for all humans is the reason God calls us to forgive and be forgiven. 

And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 6:27-28: But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

It can be hard to forgive and be forgiven but as Catholics this is what God calls us to do.
