Mr Adrian Walker - Artistic Director, Creative and Performing Arts
On Tuesday, we were treated to an incredible variety of performances, representing many cultures and their traditions. Viotti Strings (including Sophie Lloyd (piano) and Chloe Noon (guitar)) performed a few dance reels with guest dancers from the Eireann Irish Dancing Academy and our very own Artistic Director and World Class Irish Dancer, Adrian Walker.
Congratulations to Haiden Kim (Year 3) who was awarded a High Distinction in his Preliminary Viola Exam. Haiden is currently learning both Viola and Cello and is heavily involved in our Co-curricular Music program.
Our vocal teacher, Leanne Kenneally, will feature in the following concert this Saturday 25 March, 7:30pm at St. Andrew’s Uniting Church.
Mr Christian Gante, our Piano/Guitar Tutor and Choral Accompanist is an Aviary Tour guide at the Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World. Look out for him if you visit these holidays!
As we draw closer to the end of term, this is a timely reminder for parents to notify the Music Department if your child is withdrawing from Private Tuition. Late cancellation of lessons will result in a 2-week cancellation fee. Please send an email to music@clayfield.qld.edu.au by the end of this week.
At the end of term, Instrumental Tutors will advise their students if there are any lessons owing due to explained absences. These lessons will be credited on the next term’s fee statement.
Please see the following link for 2023 Tuition fees and Terms and Conditions related to Private Instrumental Lessons.
