Tennis
Ivy Lauder has been selected to represent Queensland at the School Sport Australia National Championships. This is an impressive achievement for the 14-year-old athlete.
Ivy has worked incredibly hard to get to where she is today. She has shown remarkable dedication and commitment to the sport. Over the years, Ivy has honed her skills, worked on her technique, and competed at numerous tournaments, all in the pursuit of her dream of becoming a professional tennis player.
Ivy’s selection to the Queensland Schools State Tennis team is a testament to her talent, hard work, and perseverance. The U18 team is made up of the best young tennis players in the state, and Ivy was selected after a gruelling tournament based on her skills and performance. This is an incredible honour for her being the youngest member on the team, and she is understandably thrilled to have the opportunity to represent her state at the national championships.
The School Sport Australia National Championships is a prestigious event that brings together the top young athletes from across the country to compete against each other in a range of sports. For Ivy, this will be an opportunity to showcase her skills, test herself against the best players in the country, and gain valuable experience that will help her in her future career.
Ivy is not just an exceptional tennis player. She recently competed at the QGSSSA Swimming Championships charging down the pool in Butterfly and relay events.
We wish her all the best as she prepares for her upcoming matches. We have no doubt that Ivy will continue to achieve great things in the world of tennis.
