Years 7-9

Year 8 

Year 8s have made a great start to 2023. It has been amazing to see the smooth transition from new and existing students from Year 7 into Year 8 at Brookside College! A big thank you to the cohort for making our start to the term a positive one as well as being resilient as you adjust to the New Year. After our start up program, it has been great to see each of our classrooms come to life with colour and displays. A big shout out to 8A, whose homeroom is a stand out with their creativeness and colour with their Belonging Wall.

The Year 8s have been competing in cohort games on each Thursday during lunchtime. This is a great opportunity for students in Year 8 to participate or support their homeroom in the games. Our cohort champion trophy will be awarded at the end of term for the overall homeroom winner!

Everyone is looking forward to all that is to come this year including Year 8 camp. Year 8s will head off to camp on the 31st of May with many exciting activities including surfing, ropes course and giant swing. The event is currently up on compass with the deposit due on March 24th.
