FRENCH

With Heather Jones, Eleanor Kratz and Anne Nguyen

In French, Years 3-6, we explored how our varied backgrounds give us different perspectives. We decorated masks to represent our uniqueness and the perspective or ‘lens’ through which we see the world. Understanding our differences helps us to respect one another. Students also reviewed number recognition and pronunciation for digits 0-20 and are learning classroom instructions to function in the French classroom. They are participating in interactive games such as human Memory, Bingo, vocabulary Treasure Hunts, viewing and repeating vocabulary on the teacher voice recorded PPT and completing matching worksheets and word banks. In addition, at home, students can access Seesaw to practice reading and repeating classroom instruction vocabulary with the teacher voice-recorded PPT.
