Badminton

Well done to all the students who competed in the Colac Division Badminton Tournament last Friday at the Colac Show Grounds. It was great to see how their skills improved as the day went along. Our students were runners up on the day. Thanks to Jo Cook and her team of helpers for their work on the day, and to the parents who supported the day.

Winter Sport

On Friday 26th August our Year 5/6 children will compete against Colac Primary School in the Winter Sports Program. This will take place at Sacred Heart. Children will participate in the following sports - Football, Netball, Hot Shots Tennis, badminton and T-Ball. This will take place between recess and lunch time. Children will need to wear their sports uniform and bring the appropriate gear for their chosen sport e.g. football boots, shorts etc (football jumpers will be supplied). Due to the wet conditions of the oval, footballers will need to bring along a towel.

On Thursday 8th September our Year 5/6 children will compete against South West Primary School in the Winter Sports Program. This will take place at Sacred Heart. Children will participate in the following sports - Football, Netball, Down Ball and Spike ball. This will take place between recess and lunch time. Children will need to wear their sports uniform and bring the appropriate gear for their chosen sport e.g. football boots, shorts etc (football jumpers will be supplied)

Football Jumpers/Netball Dresses

All footballers and netballers are reminded to return their football jumpers and dresses a.s.a.p. 

Basketball Trials

At school, during recess and lunchtimes, our Year 6 children are currently trialing for the Sacred Heart basketball team that will compete in the Colac Division Basketball event on Wednesday 14th September. 

Drink Bottles

All children are reminded that they need to bring a drink bottle to sport.

Monday 12th September - Colac Division Hot Shots Tennis Tournament
