It is almost here (please note that the date has changed from that in our school calendar), next Tuesday 30th of August is the day the children will be able to don their favourite book character costume and show it off to their friends and whole school when we participate in our book week parade. If children wish, they can also use the book week theme as their inspiration for a costume. 

Please remember it is a fun day and costumes can easily be put together with items you have around the house. We love seeing the imaginations of the children through the wonderful costumes they put together with the help of those at home. The children are getting excited and there is a lot of chatter about what they are going to be wearing.

We are sorry to say that parents will not be invited to this event, but I am sure the children will come home with some great stories from the day.
