Year 11 Study Camp & Elevate Sessions - Wednesday 16th November to Friday 18th November

As part of their Year 12 Step-Up program, Year 11 students will be attending an overnight camp at Anglesea Valley Lodge. The camp is being funded by the Victorian Government Positive Start program, so there is no cost to families. The camp will provide students a chance to strengthen relationships with their peers and the College staff and develop team building skills and resilience. A list of requirements for the camp has been provided to students.

The College has invited Elevate to present to our students for a one-day study skills program. Elevate are used by many schools throughout Victoria to help set students up for success in Year 12. There will be sessions specific to both VCE and VCAL students. The Elevate sessions will be held at the College and students are expected to attend in full school uniform.

Important Notes:

Any student who has not yet received a permission form should collect one from Barak office.
Permission can be given via Compass.
Camp permission forms are due back on Friday 16th September. No late forms will be accepted.
Students cannot change to the alternate camp date.
Any student suspended between now and the camp will not be permitted to attend.
Study camp, Elevate sessions and Year 12 step-up classes are part of the compulsory College program.
The last day of school for Year 11 students will be Thursday 1st December
