DAFFODIL DAY

(Pictured above: last year's Daffodil Day fundraising)

The College will be raising funds for the Cancer Council's Daffodil Day on Friday 26 August (Week 6). Daffodil Day is an opportunity for Australians to come together to give and have the ability to create change in the lives of people impacted by cancer by funding medical research. Many of us, unfortunately, know of someone who has been touched with cancer in their lives and so this day is the chance to make a difference.

The College will be holding three different fundraising activities:

  1. Bunches of daffodils will be sold for $10. Students and parents can purchase these in the Kiss 'n' Ride from 8:15am. Limited quantities may be sold after school. An EFTPOS machine will be available.
  2. Year 12 students' giant cake and hot food stall at recess in the glass covered area. Year 12s have been asked to contribute pre-packaged food for this cause.
  3. Staff Morning Tea in exchange for a donation on Wednesday 24 August.

Thank you in advance for your support of this worthy cause.
