STATE REPRESENTATIVES: YEAR 7 AFL STARS

Congratulations to Year 7 students Vienna Matera (Kimberley), Jed McGuane (Trinity), Ben Hawkins (Barlow) and Alex Brown (Normandy) who have just returned from representing WA at the very muddy 2022 School Sport Australia National AFL Championships in Adelaide, SA.

All four students were part of history by participating in this championship. Vienna was a proud member of the inaugural 12s girls team that won a bronze medal. Ben and Alex's participation in the 12s boys team also beat Victoria for the first time in their eleven years of participation. The boys won a silver medal, having been beaten by the home team, South Australia, by just three points. All teams played outstanding football and did WA (and their schools) proud.
