AFL GIRLS REPRESENT ACC

Congratulations to Molly Conroy (Year 11 Barlow), Amalie Moe (Social Justice Captain, O'Reilly), Shannon Bistrup (Year 12 O'Reilly) and Jorja Elisseou (Year 12 Hannan) who were selected to represent Associated Catholic Colleges (ACC) as members of the Girls All Stars AFL team. The team participated in a tri-tournament series against School Sport WA (SSWA) and the Independent Girls' Schools' Sport Association (IGSSA) and won one of their two games, with SSWA being crowned winners overall based on ladder percentage.

The girls were selected from over 70 applicants and were the most players selected from an individual school. Prior to selection, Molly, Amalie, Shannon and Jorja travelled to All Saints College in Bull Creek for a number of months to train after school and on Saturdays, before training as a combined ACC team.

The girls represented both the College and the ACC brilliantly and are to be congratulated for their dedication, commitment and fair play. Congratulations!
