Responsible Pet Education

On Tuesday, Year 1/2 had a visit from the Responsible Pet Education Program.

Liz and BeeJ reminded us of the responsibilities of owning a pet, specifically dogs and cats. A lot of students remembered the important points from previous visits. Liz also taught us the importance of reading a dog's body language to understand whether they were safe to approach. This included our pets at home.

Some lucky students then modelled how to say hello to a dog that they wanted to pat. Here are some of the photos from our visit.
