Reminders for Term 4

Parent Helpers for Term 4

Thank you once again for our fantastic parent helpers who are giving up their time to come and help our students with their learning. Timetables for this have gone out.

Production

The students have been practising their songs and dances in their house groups. They have taken part in a whole school rehearsal. 2/3 teachers really enjoyed seeing all our fantastic performers. Please use the holidays to organise your costumes and bring them to school on the first day back. Costumes should be on a hanger and labelled with your child’s name. Costumes will then stay at school until after the production. Carol still needs hobby horses if anyone has one at home.  Permission notes have gone out for our full dress rehearsal next term; please make sure you give permission. We will go on buses to Latrobe in Bundoora on Monday 10th October for a full dress rehearsal. The cost is $10.

Sun Safe

Hats, hats, hats! Students are required to have a hat when they’re outside during Term 4. Please pop a hat in your child’s bag over the holidays and ensure it has their name on it.

Swimming

As part of our Health and Physical Education Program, the 2/3s will swim next term. This will begin in week 5. Students will complete 7 swimming sessions throughout the program. Students will be required to wear swimmers to school on their swimming day. More information will follow.
