Yay! Holiday time!

Week 9 has been busy, with whole school production rehearsals and a mini-cultural week about Spain. The students have also completed assessments for writing (Spanish and English) and reading- definitely earning themselves a well-deserved break!

Using Gaudi as our inspiration, students worked collaboratively to design and create a mosaic and produce a tourist advertisement promoting Spain and all it has to offer! We produced videos, slideshows, PowerPoints, posters about la comida, los animales, festivales, lugares famosas y personas famosas.

The hard work was presented to peers in a 'gallery walk' at the end of the learning sessions. It was, at times, crazy, loud, and boisterous, but we were pleased to see how engaged all of the students were in completing their projects. You can view these projects under the "Term 3 Cultural Week" activity on SeeSaw.
