BOOK CLUB visits the LIBRARY

Book Club at McKinnon is a lunchtime student club which meets each fortnight. This Club usually meets in the MERC and is run by Ms Gibbs and Mrs Robertson. Students of all ages enjoy discussing the latest releases and favourite reads. 

Once a term, the Library hosts Book Club where the students have an opportunity to hear about new developments in the library and to select new books, which the library then purchases. 

Last Wednesday, the Book Club students gathered to enjoy a hot lunch, generously provided by the English KLA, and to listen to a talk by Jess Speight from the Little Bookroom. The theme for this Book Club was ‘fantasy’ and Jess discussed and presented some books ranging from ancient times to the future:
