Stage 5 Commerce

As part of their Commerce class, Stage 5 have embarked on a hands-on business venture. The class has taken on running Friday mornings Vinnies Winter Appeal, where they offer a selection of Milos and Bacon & Egg Rolls. This initiative provides students with practical experience in running a business while supporting a worthy cause.

As a result of their fantastic efforts, they have made over $500 profit so far this term which will be donated to Vinnies. By the end of the term they will have a Business Plan finalised and will present this at a 'Board Meeting' in their lesson. It's fabulous to see their commitment and excitement to this project.

Year 10 History

Year 10 History collaboratively peer marked previous years assessments using the marking rubric. This deepened their understanding of the task, how to use the marking rubric, and gave them clarity when beginning to write their own task.

Year 7 Science

The Year 7’s have been learning about states of matter in Science. They had a great time making the Non-Newtonian fluid, Oobleck. Oobleck is a special fluid that temporarily turns solid when pressure is applied to it.
