Blended Learning (BL) Update

Following the Blended Learning trial in Term 1, there have been a number of timetable changes. Students are asked to please make sure that they take note of these. Each student will now have four timetabled lessons for their BL classes, but one of these will generally still be run as a BL class with students encouraged to independently complete the set work.

In some cases, students who have completed the BL work for the week may not be required to attend that lesson. If the BL lesson falls in period 1 or 5, and a student has permission to work independently, they may negotiate to work from home. Normal expectations for signing in or out of campus still apply.

Some students may have lost a Study Skills line as a result of timetable changes. There are multiple Study Skills classes available if this additional support is required; please speak to your teacher, Adam, Kate, Amy or Jane about options.

All of the work set, whether face-to-face or independent, must be completed within the set timeframe. Students who are not able to do so may be entered into the catch-up sessions on Tuesday morning or Friday afternoon.
