IB FUNDRAISER

$2000 raised for Turkiye and Syria

Last term, the IB class planned and held a fundraiser for the people who were affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria at the start of the year. In total, we made $2000.00 from the fundraiser, which will be sent to the Australian Red Cross very soon!

We wanted to take an opportunity to thank everyone who helped make the fundraiser possible and announce the raffle winners!

Thank you so much to Ms King, Mr Birkenhead, and Mr Minack for being such good sports when they got pied in the face! 

A special thanks to Mr Naef, Ms Brinkley, Mr Motteram, and Mr De Kretser for being part of the pie-in-the-face competition, despite not being pied! 

Thank you to everyone who donated, bought a raffle ticket, bought a sausage, or put money towards the teacher they wanted to see pied!

We would also like to thank Mr Minack for donating the bike, FGB Natural Products for donating the essential oil hampers, Ms Boyd for donating the soft drinks, and Purpl. Agency for donating the sausages for the sausage sizzle!

In terms of the raffle, we have drawn the winners!

In 4th place, winning the $40 Westfield voucher is Lu Shaw! (Fred and Eric Shaw)

In 3rd place, winning one of the essential oil hampers, is Anita Pedrana! (Lucy Correlje)

In 2nd place, winning one of the essential oil hampers, is Fiona Mensah! (Calum Mensah)

In 1st place, winning the bike, is Sarah Jersier-Sandiford!
