Foundation News…

This term, the Foundation students have been exploring the many different community helpers, in our Integrated unit called 'Our Place'. We were lucky enough to have some firefighters come to visit over the last two weeks. We learnt about fire safety, which included things such as safe meeting areas, safe fires and unsafe fires, emergency contact numbers, fire safety tools in the home, and how to safely escape fire danger. We then had the opportunity to see the fire trucks, hear their sirens and see their lights, as well as holding the hose with the firefighters. It was such a fun experience and one we won't forget!
