Literacy News...

Our students have continued their great reading efforts over the past couple of weeks. As a school we have recorded over 5000 books read on the Premiers’ Reading Challenge. A fabulous effort!

We have 80 students who have completed the challenge requirements so far. These students are in the draw to become the next ‘Reading Star’. This will be announced at assembly on Friday.

National Simultaneous Storytime

This event was held last Wednesday. Although we didn’t listen to the story at the correct time, the Year 6 students and their buddies enjoyed reading the story, ‘The Speedy Sloth’ together. They then made a sloth each. These sloths are on display in the library for everyone to enjoy!
