Sailabilty

Sailability NSW Central West branch’s next Client Sailing day is scheduled to be held SUNDAY the 20 NOV.

FOR NEW SAILORS  

With a very full dam expected for our 2023 season start, we will set up next to the equipment shed with camp chairs for participant/carer seating provided. Our client sailors are asked to report into our check in desk and provide contact details. Note that sailing is conducted in the order of arrival at the dam.  

New sailors sail with an experienced sailor for as long as they wish, dependant on client numbers served and wind strength on the day.  We have a wheel chair friendly pontoon to access our unsinkable 3m long two man yachts with a winch and slings and a team of

strong and enthusiastic volunteers who support our sailors on and off the water. We have all required safety equipment (PFDs, sun screen and wet weather gear on hand). Note that

drinking water is not provided, please BYO. We have a powered safety boat on hand. There is an accessible toilet and shower block available. For our more adventurous, there are single handed boats available to encourage growth and independence through our ‘learn by doing’ approach.

OESC has had a number of inquiries regarding online flood donations for recent flood victims. We are now accepting donations over the phone, simply call the Orange Ex-Services' Club on (02) 6362 2666 and our reception team will be able to assist you.
