ART SHOW - SENIOR AND JUNIOR

This year, for the first time in three years, McKinnon held not just one, but two Art Shows.

On Tuesday 15 November, we were invited to help set up for the Senior Art Show that would be held the following night. It was a fantastic experience as we got a sneak peak of the Art Show and admire all the great artworks McKinnon students had to offer, such as paintings, ceramics and sculpture. 

On the night, we arranged to hand out food from Oasis Bakery and we got to meet members of the community, teachers, and students who were all jaw-dropped by the artworks. We also had the guest speaker, Anthony Breslin, talk about creativity.

Then on Monday 5 December, was the Junior Art Show. We had previously set-up on the Friday. 

Again, it was great to look at the art the Junior school had to showcase, especially as it was created by our peers!
