Teaching and Learning in ART

We are all artists at LPS! Please enjoy our collection of photographs taken in the art room. 

PREP – Students created their favourite foods out of Paper Magiclay. They used water colour paint to decorate. 

GRADE 1 and 2 – Students used oil pastels and a special paint mixture to create their own Australian animal scratch art. They also manipulated air dry clay and used modelling skills to create their own monsters. 

GRADE 3 and 4 – Students created an eye-catching artwork to help bring awareness to an endangered Australian animal. They also created a woven artwork to reflect their birth months and the season. 

GRADE 5 and 6 – Students created an Australian animal and its habitat using plasticine. They also experimented with the Art Set App, creating a digital artwork inspired by Van Gogh.
