Well done, Mia Newbold, Sophia Papantoniou, and Shanelle James, who recently competed for Met North Sport in Hockey.  The team battled well all week against the other Queensland regions.

The team played off against Capricornia and came away with a 1-0 win to finish the tournament in fifth place.

Australian U18 national hockey titles – Sophia Papantoniou 

From 6 to 14 April Sophia attended the Australian U18 national hockey titles in Cairns as a fifteen-year-old.  Her team went through undefeated and brought home the gold for Queensland in the grand final.  This is an outstanding achievement from Sophia and her team. Well done!
