Captains' Corner

School Captain -  Kye Duncan

Hello everyone!

A new season has brought forth a new tide and a new chance to flourish.

The seeds we have planted over the course of this year have had time to develop and blossom into cherished memories and long-lasting friendships. The coming of a new Term gives us the chance to plant new seeds and cultivate the ones we planted prior.

A major bud that has blossomed only recently was the official opening of our new Junior STEM building! Some will recollect that I referred to the building as a testament to the rapid changes we face in life and to see its doors finally ready to be opened has been an inspiring conclusion to the metaphor. I have had the pleasure to grow alongside its construction and to finally walk within its corridors alongside our distinguished guests, was an honour. I hope you all share the same excitement I feel at the possibility of new change - and all the new opportunities that come with it.

In other news; a reminder that Book Week is back this year and is gearing up to be the best one yet! With many exciting events, workshops, guests and chances to engage with literature and the essence of human nature - it would be such a missed opportunity not to envelop yourself in the fun. Hope to see you all give it your best between the 8th-12th August!

Consider your talents and all that you aspire to be as a bud, destined to sprout into whatever dream you desire.
